Year 5 & 6 · PSHE · Enrichment Workshop
An interactive, gamified workshop.Through play, your Year 5 and 6 pupils will discover how to save, spend, earn, and avoid scams, building lifelong money skills along the way.Financial education forms part of the national curriculum, but many schools lack the time or specialist provision to deliver it in a practical, engaging way. We bring a specialist-led, fully resourced session directly to your classroom so your pupils get the lesson that will set them up for a lifetime. We are based in Swansea but love taking this workshop on the road, delivering engaging money lessons to schools across the UK.
Pupils receive pretend money and face real decisions. Should they spend, save or invest? Suddenly maths has consequences and they are hooked.

Spend too much? You are short at the end of the month. Save wisely? Watch your total grow. The gameplay mirrors real life by design.
A live scenario drops in mid-session. Pupils have to identify the trick before they lose their savings. The ones who fall for it learn the most.

Speak to your budget holder as enrichment sessions like this can qualify. We are happy to provide a description of the session for your records.Three ways to think about the cost:
- Around the cost of a supply teacher. A supply teacher typically costs schools £170–£270 per day. A 90-minute specialist-led session at £250 covers everything: materials, prep, and follow-up included.
- Under £9 per pupil. For a full class of 30, that's £8.33 each for a session they will remember far longer than most workshops.
- May be eligible for Pupil Premium. Many schools use Pupil Premium to fund enrichment activities. Ask your budget holder as this session may qualify.
The average UK adult pays £1,489 every year in interest on debt. Quietly losing money year after year. That’s more than the entire cost of this £250 workshop. (The Money Charity, 2024)In fact, £250 is equivalent to just around 61 days of interest payments for the average adult. Spread across a class of 30 students, that’s just over 2 days of interest per child. In other words, for the cost of what many adults lose in just a few days, we can give a child knowledge that could shape their financial future for decades. This isn’t just a workshop, it’s a small intervention at the point it matters most, before costly habits take hold and become lifelong burdens.
